I was tasked to work a contract position starting near the end of 2017 at entertainment agency TVGla. Collaborating with their internal development team, we were to work on two web applications for Fox Searchlight. These applications were two For Your Consideration websites for the movies The Shape of Water and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

Each of the sites were built as a single page applications in the same template using the modern framework Vue.js. The Shape of Water was the first to be built, and acted as the template that was the springboard for the Three Billboards project.

Both sites were on a very tight deadline, as they needed to deploy in production well before the airing of the Academy Awards in March. The content of the sites comprise all of the award categories in which each of these movies held Oscar nominations. Since both films were nominated for several awards, this made meeting the deadline even more of a challenge. All of this hard work was even more rewarding in the end when both films ended up winning Oscars in multiple categories.
